Darjeeling First Flush
Picked at the very start of the Darjeeling season. The cup is pale and light-bodied with a muscatel edge. Best drunk without milk, early in the day.

Nuwara Eliya sits high enough that the bushes grow slowly and the leaf stays bright, which is why this drinks lighter than most Sri Lankan black tea. Orange Pekoe is a leaf grade, whole and long, and has nothing to do with orange in the cup. Expect a clear amber liquor, a citrus lift and a clean, brisk finish without the weight of a low-grown tea. It is the everyday black tea in this range: fine with milk, better over ice with lemon, and hard to ruin at four minutes.
